Thanks to her father Dean, Colleen's life was centered around music from a very young age. Besides playing in a an active duo she and her dad also collaborate on recording and writing songs. Colleen's music and style is a strong modern mainstream sound with a little country fringe, something like a mashup of the power of Miranda Lambert mixed with the brightness of early Dolly Parton, but slightly less twang. Colleen's debute EP is available now on lotown records. This EP features Colleen's unique and clever take on self-strength, artistic growth and matters of the heart. She seems to ask, and then answer, the question "What does it mean to stand in your own strength in the face of stubborn loneliness". Colleen's music tells us that the heart always knows better than the mind, if we can only listen.
